So, I need to remove this and have found nothing on it. Seems like if I pry, it will break or damage something.

Anyone know? Am I missing something? Thanks and take care.

It sure looks like it's a friction fit. I see no circlip or any other fastener.

Are you able to fit something really thin (like a razor blade) between the lockout switch and the top cap? If so, I'd gently pry up, move the razor, gently pry up some more.

GOT IT!!!

So for all that have this... Just get a piece of wood or board and put that against the knob end that sticks out and give it a whack with either a hammer or dead blow and VOILA!!! There is a snap ring beneath it to hold it on. After I torqued it down, took the same board and tapped it back in to place. All good to go! I hope this helps someone else out there. Additionally, I did complete the fork rebuild marpilli, however, minimal photos and did a few rides lol. Sorry. I'll get something up in another post. Take care.

Awesome! Thank you for the update.

The big question... Did you read about that solution somewhere? Or, did you just "go at it" and figure it out on your own?
