Another great talent lost.

Similar to when Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett passed on the same day. Jacksons passing took the spotlight.

DJ, you have the memory of an elephant. But now that you mention it, if I recall correctly, Farrah Fawcet had some sort of awful intestinal cancer or something like that. It sounded like she was enduring a pretty painful ordeal.

Man, back in the day I couldn't get enough of her. Jeezus!

All the old Blues men are leaving us. Buddy Guy is still touring, he may be one of the last of the greats that's still around.

Yeah Farrah wasn't only a gem to look at. Her personality in real life was quite down to earth. A Texas sweetheart from the country. Even all those years in LA didn't jade her.

Somewhere in the past few days Chuck Barris the guy that did the Gong Show, Dating Game, and Newlywed Game passed, too. Wrote some music for them, too. The stuff from the Newlywed Game that made it onto the game show funny moment type videos is hilarious.

Although that Playboy spread where she was covered in gold paint was a bit kooky.

When I was a kid I watched the Gong Show religiously. Man there were some bad acts, which of course made the show so funny. He had a few mannerisms that kinda freaked me out but definitely a funny dude.

Whenever he came on Letterman I was always on edge because there was always a pretty good chance that he was going to say something old school about race or gender. Yeah, he was a funny dude, some of his stuff from the 70's and 80's was hilarious.

Don did maybe his last performance thing with Jerry Seinfeld in Jerries' "Comedians in Cars, Getting Coffee", an online show produced by Crackle.

Classic Don. As they were leaving Don's house to go out , Don almost forgot to kiss his fingers and touch the Mezuzah on the doorframe. Then he looks back, waiting for Jerry to follow suit. "Oh, I forgot. Your'e not that kind of Jew".

Sad, Eddie Murphys older brother. His last tweet was ironic.

I really liked his style. He was a great actor. At 68 that's a bit early. Dang.

Suicide. Wow. From what I read he was outwardly fine in the hours before. Tough to figure this one out.

His last gig in Detroit, and his last song he sang was a cover song from Led Zeppelin called "In My Time of Dying".

Sad

All I want for you to do is take my body home
Those are the opening lines to the last song Chris Cornell ever sang on stage. It was a cover of Led Zeppelin's "In My Time of Dying."

Loved him in the "Saint", not so much as Bond, as I grew up with Sean Connery as Bond.
RIP.
